March 2025

Hello, friend.

The recent sunshine has inspired me to start refreshing my own space and I am drawing inspiration from so many places. The past year led me down some interesting paths and included time to reflect on all the makeovers I’ve done since relaunching in 2022. This work has been more in line with my sense of community and purpose than anything I’ve done before and I am filled with tremendous gratitude for you.

I cherish the opportunity to merge my design work with construction management … along with brand management for businesses who need to ensure the vibe of their new space aligns with the rest of their image, putting to good use my decades in marketing. Still, I am arriving to Spring 2025 with some fresh perspective, ready to serve in a new, meaningful way that I am excited to share with you.

One challenge I’ve encountered the past few years is that nearly every makeover has been vastly different in scope from any other. Because of this, I have struggled to land on a simple, consistent pricing strategy. I’ve happily accommodated individual needs, but it’s often required time-consuming custom proposals for almost every project. Sometimes this meant people had to wait until I compiled an entire renovation plan before seeing any ideas on paper. That also occasionally required large design fees because I was putting so much time and detail into the front end of the project. It balanced out in the end, but it may be a bigger commitment up front than some feel comfortable with.

To make my services more accessible, I’ve implemented a new pricing strategy that starts with a low-cost, one-hour room consultation that provides full access to my design and contractor expertise so we can discuss all aspects of your project and imagine possibilities together. I have even created a printable checklist so you can organize your takeaways from the meeting in one spot and consider how much you might want to DIY.

From there, you can choose services to add on, such as an in-depth color palette analysis with a full physical portfolio of Sherwin Williams paint samples, digital mood boards and/or custom renderings where I compile ideas with the level of detail of YOU want to see, and additional standalone services such as:

  • shopping for your space locally or online

  • furniture assembly & light handy work

  • decorating and staging

Of course, I still offer my complete makeover package with my own team of trades people — but you can now elect project planning if you just want someone to come up with pricing and details or project management if you already have a project in the works that you simply don’t want to have to coordinate. I offer them as separate options.

Whether you’re refreshing a room, dreaming of a full renovation, or just need an expert opinion, my new structure ensures you will get exactly what you need — no more, no less.

I still have some appointments open in March and April. I look forward to seeing you and your space again soon!

Warmly,

Stephanie Murray
